Sun, sun and even more sun. This has made me so happy. I have been able to go back to my summer wardrobe and get the legs back out! Simple outfits for this week...Until the rain comes next. Boo.

My full fringe has successfully grown past down to my nose and is acceptable to be worn with clips or scrapped back.

This week was my first full week at University and it is taking its toll on me, I had to nap when I got home today. On the up note 12 days until I can start having fun and move into halls. And then start looking for a job. 

Fridays are so great we have photoshop lessons, so I can finally get taught how to use it 'fo real'!!

All I can say is, Thank god its Friday.

iPhoto Weekly Blogger ♥ Week Five

It seems that every week is going quicker. I had my first lecture at Uni, I had a BBQ, I went out Thursday, Friday and then again Saturday. Im going to miss the nights out at home but I can't wait till I move into halls. Perhaps I'll have another leaving party HA. 
The early days have already caught up with me since I have come down with the flu, Im sat watching one tree hill with a big boys hoody on, its always best to wear boys clothing when your ill so much more cosy. 
Finely got my student loan today (only a week late) and made £100 on eBay with still loads more to sell. Good start to my week.

Hair band on my wrist. I need to stop forgetting to take them of. I have such a habit of always needing a hairband that I tend to use them as an accessory. Speaking of accessories, I've not been wearing any since they are all packed up, ready for my move, which could not come any sooner. 
These photos were from Thursday; my first REAL day at University and my first lecture. Ended up taking notes about the fashion industry but not yet learned anything, it was still more of an induction to that lesson. Then had to get into groups a present a presentation. Awful. 
I've been selling some items on eBay, really old items that I've not worn in about three years or sometimes never. Ill be putting some more items on since I have two black sacks of clothing I never wear. Click here to see what I'm selling. Theres only a few hours left.

iPhoto Weekly Blogger ♥ Week Four

My lack of photo taking this week was surprisingly awful. but then again, I've not really done a lot. So instead I am sharing with you the photos I took when I was went to London for the day.
My first Uni project was to look around a selection of places and stores in London, looking at the store layout, ambience etc etc. So I had to take a few of my own sneaky photos. 
My favourite photos and store was the Covent Garden; Kurt Geiger store. I am ashamed to admit that this was my first time in the store. The store was surrounded by mirrors, even the till was built into a mirrored wall. I loved it. The girls mocked saying that this is what my house would look like. 
My second favourite was Miss Selfridge; the red glossy walls with a manequin propped up against it. 
And lastly, I finally got my nails done. Im starting to think that this is going to be the last time I get acrylic nails. Ive had them for over a year, every month a different colour. But I miss my collection of Barry M. 
First day at Uni on Thursday, one presentation completed only another 7 to get done. Eek.

Late Night Blogger

I have officially become a late night blogger. I cant seem to sleep when I get into bed, no matter how tired I feel. So I turn the mac book on instead. These shorts were actually jeans which I decided to cut down because there were flares! Great idea, I must say. 
I usually cant stand shirts buttoned up to the top, I always feel like I'm chocking, but seems to be the done thing. It didn't stay buttoned for long mind you. 
Another week is over. Time seems to be flying past. Since my travel to London I've done nothing with myself. I have my first University project which I should have made a start on, but as per, left it till the last minute. 
It genuinely feels like Winter is just around the corner. All the good TV shoes are starting and the late night films are showing. Im really looking forward to being settled in my new 'medium' sized bedroom. 
Im going to have to leave it there, I don't have my contacts or my glasses on so squinting at the screen is driving me crazy. The joys of having shit eye sight.

Maria Grachvogel; Behind the scenes

I had not come across Maria's designs or garments until I worked on her A/W 11 collection. The fabric felt luxurious and the drapes looked beautiful and hang well on all parts of a women's body. She's very creative when she choose her drapes of garments and the use of extra fabric. What really amazed me was her wonderful use of patterns and colours on her clothing. It seems as though she was influenced by colour and animals.
