LONDON FASHION WEEK DAY FIVE

Jumper H&M / Shirt H&M / Skirt Vintage (for sale on my vintage shop) / Bag Zara / Shoes Zara

What I’m Wearing: By the fifth day I wasn’t too sure if I was even going to go. At 9am I rushed into town to find something and for last resort the Charity Shops came to my rescue. This nifty little swing check skirt which is so on trend this A/W13 was a perfect find.

I would of preferred to have pair it with a little spaghetti camisole top rather than hide my figure with two lots of layers – which in the end made me feel like a school teacher. But fashion is for learning and finding what you like best and what you are most comfortable in.

Its safe to say this was the warmest day for me.

How To Style It: Midi swing skirts can be styled easily. I prefer to wear them with heels because I am short so it stops them from looking like they drown me. A pair of heels just dress them up a little more and can make you feel very elegant when you are wearing something that is so full and loose.

A Little More: This was photographed for The Daily Telegraph where they said “Who said a grey pleated skirt was just for school? This fashionista teams hers with a denim shirt, barley-there sandals and a pink top bun.”

A huge thank you to Hannah from afashionfix.co.uk for taking my photos throughout the five days and being such great company.
