LONDON FASHION WEEK S/S14 – DAY TWO

Top c/o Motel Rocks / Skirt c/o Karma Clothing / Shirt Primark / Bag Zara / Shoes Topshop

What I’m Wearing: If you saw a few posts back my NYFW Inspiration post, you would notice that I took my inspiration from there. I wanted to try a clash of print and tartan. I think it works well and the white helps to break up the bold prints and dark black running through the shirt and skirt.

I must admit I didn’t feel very glamourous wearing this. I felt more laid back and casual. Which for the future I know for Fashion Week I would like to avoid.

This skirt from Karma Clothing is only £7.99 and it fits lovely. I was worried that because of the low price it may not fit well. But it fits perfectly.

I love also have to mention how much I love the Motel Rock cold shoulder collection. I also sported their dress today, which you can see tomorrow.

How To Style It: When I originally had this outfit planned I paired it with black chelsea boots, thin black tights and a black crop top. It looked very punk. I think we should all try new things, it takes us out of our comfort zones. You could even hair a tartan skirt with a check shirt… Punk is huge this A/W 14.

A Little More: For day two of LFW. Hannah, Vanessa and myself spent the day at Somerset House. The main people I was photographed by were Company Magazine (not up yet), New Look and MSN (I ended up being featured on the homepage which is pretty cool). Hannah was incredibly spotted and photographed for Vogue. Check out her blog to see what she wore.
