A Hotel with history.
We were in awe when we were told the story of how Louis Béroud stayed in this exact room with the Mona Lisa when he stole it in 1911.
As soon as you enter the top room of the hotel, you are greeted with his image, of when he was captured by the police on the door.
The ‘Mona Lisa’ (obviously not the real one because thats kept in The Louvre) is sat in a trunk at the end of bed.

A Grey and gold theme runs throughout the room and the lights make it very warm.
Roberto Cavalli shower lotions that smelt incredible.
The detail in the Hotel is impeccable.
We put our bags down and headed for the areas nearby.
The Louvre being one of them.
We headed back to our Hotel to spend the evening in the spa.
Grabbed the bottle of complimentary Champers (Thank you to the wonderful staff), got into our swimwear and headed down.
We had the pool area all to ourselves. Your able to book a time slot of your choice.
The lights twinkled from all different colours while the bubbles
sped up, leaving us sleepy and so relaxed.
We spent the evening sipping champagne, teaching Jenny to swim (another unsuccessful attempt, instead she swam into the wall) and laughing the night away.
