WHAT TO WEAR UNDER A SEE-THROUGH DRESS

Summer has hit us here in the UK and with me doing most of my shopping online, my biggest fail is when the item arrives, I go to wear it and everything underneath is on full display to the world.

This Summer I am not allowing myself to be fooled by online editing. Lets be honest we all say “it didn’t look see through on the website”. Thats because they have edited the image that way, to fool us all into buying such a product.

This year there is more under garment options than ever, without looking like you’ve scrambled through your granny’s wardrobe for a slip dress.

SWIMWEAR

For most of us, this will be the easiest option because we probably already have something suitable in our wardrobe. It doesn’t matter if its a swimsuit or a bikini with prints, people will clearly be able to tell its a swimwear.

Thats exactly what I have under this Missguided White Chiffon Smock Dress. I wore a dusty pink swimming costume.

Make sure you go for a white, nude or light pink colour so you don’t draw attention to what really is going on underneath.

BODYSUITS

Very similar to the swimsuit but they come in many different materials and styles. Some strapless, some ribbed.

SLIPS

All Saints do the best slip dresses and they are probably the best thing to wear under something see through because they are strapless and short, making them suitable for most dresses.

UNITARDS

With thanks to Kim K for the Unitard trend or for the sheer fact that unitards can be purchased on the high street rather than bicycle uniform. Unitards are best for maxi dresses. But beware because you may get too hot.
