First of all thank you so much to Coffin on Cake PR for the invite to their Shoreditch show room to view their Autumn/Winter 2013 collection.
Each collection was in different rooms and each had a personal layout, theme, lighting and music to match the brand.
It was great to see they have branched into amazing, bright and neon coloured wellies. Who wants Hunters any more? Not me!
The colours of the wellies were amazing and so eye catching – right down to the clear heel of the shoe. They are just so much fun and exciting.
Then as you can see… They have created JuJu Boots. My favourite were the clear ones with the pink laces because you can experiment with funky coloured socks but then I equally love the clear glitter version. I think these are going to take of so much, especially if the weather carries on like this. The laces can also be swapped for different colours hence the Mr Lacy Laces by there side.
Moving on to the second room, the room was dark with music playing a some kind of TV in the corner. Perfect for the brands that were placed in this room.
Joseph Turvey’s collection is beyond words. All of his designs are printed with his own hand drawn illustrations and despite his collection being for Men I would most defiantly wear the white shirt with the Girl and the Ponytail. If you are somebody who likes prints, illustrations and Dalmatian print, then you need to check this out.
On the other side of the darkened room was Makers LDN an incrediable street wear brand, designed by the former stylist of M.I.A. As much as I love to dress girly, I do love a pair of trainers and a varsity jacket. Makers LDN had an amazing leather sleeved bomber jacket which I will be keeping my eyes on. The brand reminded me of the Cassie and ASOS photoshoot.
Coffin on Cake PR also featured CAT, Roxy, Quicksilver, Denim Demon, Converse, Surfdome, Fallen Footwear and many more. These will all be shown in a little Vlog I am putting together of the day which should be up on Sunday.
