Here in the UK, we’re not lucky enough to be able to pack away our knitwear when Summer arrives.
Here are five key knitwear trends to help you through.
LAYER OVER A SHEER SHIRT
(and take it off when it gets to hot)
Light shirts are a staple for Spring/Summer. Adding a jumper on top of a shirt, pulling out the collar and rolling up the sleeves is a perfect way of combining the two.
HEAD TO TOE KNIT
It could be the Zara knitted maxi cardigan with the Zara knitted trouser, or a knitted dress. Either way I love both. Especially if the forecast is cloudy. Keeps the chill of your back.
FRAYED + FRINGING KNITWEAR
Frayed knitwear is my favourite of them all. As Kanye went for hole-y T-shirts the knitwear world followed in the footsteps of denim and went for frays.
SHEER KNITS
Sheer knits are great for the evening, they are also perfectly light weight. All you need is the perfect bra underneath.
COLD SHOULDER
(You’ve been giving me the coldest shoulder cos you don’t want your emotions taking over – J.Holiday)
Another all time favourite of mine. Firstly because my shoulders tan nicely and secondly its hella sexy.
