TIPS ON WEARING AN EVENING OUTFIT IN THE DAY

Have you ever bought something that was intended to wear on a night out and suddenly you want to wear it during a hot Summers day?

Heres my tips on doing that.

GO FOR SANDALS

because you can

If you’re wondering how much longer Birkenstocks will be around for. I think a few more years. Especially with the new styles and sliders becoming such a big deal.

Wearing flat shoes to dress down an evening outfit is clearly the most obvious of them all.

But don’t go over the top, thats my tip. Don’t go for gladiators that tie all the way up your legs, leave that for the festivals. After all theres enough going on up top. Don’t take away from what you’re wearing.  Choose a simple sandal.

CHOOSE THE RIGHT HAIR STYLE

it matters!

I went for loose waves, using the Mark Hill Interchangeable curling wand.

Hair is so important when styling an outfit because it can make such a dramatic difference. By me having loose beachy waves its made the outfit look more bohemian and laid back.

DELICATE ACCESORIES

keep it classy

Ditch those heavy necklaces or bangles. Keep it classy with a few band rings or thin bracelets, maybe even an anklet.

Ive kept my Return to Tiffany bracelet and Pandora bracelet on.

OPT FOR SUNNIES

for “who is that under those shades”

Sunglasses are always a must. Although I nearly almost forget this. But they naturally keep everything casual.

FIND THE RIGHT BAG

ditch the clutch

Ive gone for the Radley De Beauvoir large zip tote. A big bag is more appropriate for the day time and its the most important of them all when dressing down an evening outfit.
