The Old Post Office Margate

The Old Post Office a restaurant and delicatessen, located in the seaside of Margate, Kent

A GRAND PLACE TO EAT

Margate is very local to me, I like to share local places to eat and stay.
The Old Post Office has been the talk of the town since it opened in 2017.

I was so impressed with the interior of the restaurant, very grand with attention to all detail.
Cream and Blue hues, with marble tables and the most beautiful bouquets of flower arrangements.

The atmosphere in the restaurant for a Friday evening was very relaxed and calm. We arrived at 7pm and were the only table in there, but it soon became full, so be sure to make a booking.

WHEN TO GO

I would choose to go on a Friday or Saturday evening, for food or just for cocktails.
It’s the perfect date night place.

WHAT TO WEAR

Dress up – especially on the weekend. It is such a lovely restaurant it is a great chance to put on something lovely to wear.
I went for a black midi dress with tights and barely there sandals.
