There are rules when it comes to wearing leggings.
Here are my top five.
1. LEGGINGS WITH LONG LAYERS
Of course this had to be number one.
My biggest pet peeve, (as I am sure it is most of those reading this) is leggings with T-shirts. In fact with anything that does not cover the bum.
There is absolutely nothing worse than thinning of leggings, and your bottom being on show – no matter how peachy it is.
2. WITH ANKLE BOOTS
Especially Black ankle boots.
Here Im wearing my favourite this year from they seem to be sold out now, but a very similar pair are in the sale, .
Im combining rule one and two, and it makes for such an easy every day outfit – especially when 38 weeks pregnant.
3. LEGGINGS UNDER COATS
For me this is a quick throw on outfit.
The coat is long enough to cover my bottom, and keep my legs that extra bit warmer in colder months.
It makes leggings a comfy alternative from denim jeans as only a little part is on show.
Pair with kitten heels for an 80s vibe.
4. NO WORN OUT LEGGINGS
The best thing about leggings is they can be so cheap and cheerful.
You can pick up a pair in Primark for such a low cost.
Im wearing the for £10. There personally my favourite because they are the perfect thickness. They are available in different leg lengths, and are high waisted.
From day to day I have been living in them throughout my pregnancy.
5. LEATHER LEGGINGS
Wearing leggings doesn’t have to be boring. Try and mix it up with a leather pair or a vinyl pair.
