While I’m swapping jeans for checks, I ‘ve rounded up the best checked trousers out there

Why wouldn’t you want to swap denim for trousers for a change? They’re comfier, have a stretcher waistband (perfect for eating out) and they are taking over with the tartan trend. I thought I would ease myself into the tartan trend and start with some checked trousers.
I always feared looking to smart for them and therefore feeling a little out of my comfort zone. If you want to avoid looking like you’re going to the office I would suggest going for a loosely fitted pair to make the outfit look more relaxed. At the same time if you do go for a full suit look, just add trainers.
