Making an early, unexpected and quite frankly dramatic arrival on 06 October, our family was complete (I will update you all on the birth very soon).
We have spent three weeks getting to know our tiny baby boy and adjusting to life as a family of five (we can’t forget Blue).
Pollyanna is besotted by her little brother who she calls ‘baby’. She enjoys stroking his head, bopping his tiny nose and pointing out where his toes are.
She surprisingly manages to sleep through his tiny bird-like cries in the early hours of the morning and he is now the first name she says when she wakes up.
Blue, on the other hand, knows all too well what is in store and has slept downstairs a few times since bringing him home.
It didn’t last long, he’s back in bed with us now.
It’s taking me longer than expected to introduce Alfie to the blog because the days are passing by far too quickly and I just know that in a blink of an eye he will be 20 months old and demanding apples.
Overall he is a dream, a little tongue-tied, sleeps throughout the day and wakes at night, nocturnal like Mummy but were working on that.
Come back soon as I will be updating you all on lots more Alife related content.
