It’s time to focus on what is currently our bedroom, and the most important part of that was the bed.
After endless evenings browsing the Wayfair site, I decided to go for the Belle Isle Bed Frame from Breakwater Bay.
We ordered King Size but in fact the measurements are Super King.
This tired Mummy is not complaining about the extra 12″ that’s for sure.
I’ll take all the inches I can get with Pollyanna, Blue and a newborn on the way.

It has a beautiful flared cornice, which has led to several leg bruisings while clumsy Adam gets used to walking around the bed.

So watch this space. I still have lots to do with this room. We need bedside tables, lamps, wardrobe doors, a statement chair and I would like a large piece of driftwood to hang across the headboard.
