Whether you arrive in sunshine or rain, the first sight you see of the Disneyland Paris hotel will not disappoint.
Walking down towards the park, if you’re not staying there you will wish you were. And if you are, you best be prepared for the magic – at any age.
After a couch journey with Ouibus and train we arrived to Disneyland Paris. Ouibus took a couple of minutes to book our tickets making it easy and stress free. As well as super affordable. It was the cheapest way to travel to Paris from London.
A short few minuets walk from the underground that takes you straight to the park. Arriving around 10am we were able to check in early.
After arriving through the pink revolving doors you are greeted with the grandest of lobbies (saving that for later). We checked into our room, headed straight to the fourth floor to get ready for the day.
The rooms are very traditional, which is what I expected. Floral carpets and wallpapered walls, surround by a theme of Disney characters. Disney characters on the borders of the wallpaper, on the bed head board, on the mirror frame, even to Peter Pan climbing up the TV cabinet.
After putting our bags down and getting ready, we headed down to the Disney Park with our VIP fast pass tickets, which you get when you stay at hotel.
During half term I would highly recommend getting some type of fast pass.
After a full day at the park, after the spectacular 10pm fireworks. We headed back to the Disneyland Hotel to explore the wings.
Like everything the hotels offers. You are greeted by staff, huge grand ceilings with panelled windows, a large checking in desk and plenty of staff around if you have any questions – all dressed to fit the atmosphere of the hotel.
Depending on where your room is situated. You may be in the east or west wing.
To get to either, an extraordinary staircase will lead you on your way.
A true traditional, American feel, is my personal opinion – think Home Alone, when Kevin checks into the hotel.
The following morning we enjoyed a breakfast buffet (which included doughnuts) with a beautiful view of Cinderella’s castle.
Breakfast complete, we put on our robes and headed down to the pool before another day in the park.
