Spring in England is the hardest transitional time of the year. One minute the sun could be shining and the next the sky opens. Finding the perfect Spring coat is key.
I believe the trench coat is the grown up of coats. I didn’t own my first trench coat until I was about 23 (for those who are new Im now going on 26 – yikes I know). Since then I have three different shades off beige trenches, one suede. Each have there own personalities.
The dream would be to drench myself in the classic Burberry Trench but until then I have found ones to compensate.
The light weight coat makes it perfect for Spring. If it gets too hot it can be folded up and put into your bag if you’ve thought ahead and taken a bag big enough.
They also go great with a mini denim skirt. I can assure you a post including that will be up soon. It may be chilly be the long coat will keep your legs warm still.
Also you can top all the trends this season with this gingham trench coat from Topshop.
