Im looking forward to indulging you into one of our favourite restaurants (and hotels) in London
BRITISH CUSINE.
The Jumeirah Carlton hotel is one of the most luxurious hotels in London, situated in the heart of Knightsbridge, hosting one of our favourite restaurants; The Rib Room.
It was our second visit to the restaurant, we had previously stayed with the hotel last year and let me remind you that a place that offers steak for breakfast is a place you want to go back too.
If you need a reason to go back for a third time, make it a Sunday and have an incredibly English Roast Dinner.
WHEN TO GO.
We visited the Rib Room on a Friday evening on this occasion and the setting was perfect for a date night.
However I would personally love to visit again on a Sunday for their roast as the experience sounds like the making of a perfect Sunday.
They offer you a Red Snapper cocktail on arrival followed by offering a complimentry ride home in their mini clubman.
WHAT TO EAT.
The Rib Room are known for their legendary rib beef, which has been on the menu since 1961.
Naturally we both ordered the steak.
We ordered from the grill section of their menu. All meats are served with oven roasted steak tomatoes, grilled Portobello mushrooms and steak chips with the choice of Rib Room sauces. I drowned my fillet steak in the peppercorn sauce. It was certainly the best fillet steak with Peppercorn sauce I’ve had in London.
Make sure you book a terrace table if you plan on a visit on a sunny day.
WHAT TO WEAR.
Something dressy. I went for a , being nine months pregnant at the time, something that flowed was key.
However it is one of those places where you will see many people dressed very casual.
My tip would be if you’re going in the evening – dress up.
