48 Hours In Monaco

During our European Road trip we spent 48 hours in Monaco

A quick guide to Monaco; one of the most luxurious places in the world. Where the rich come to shop and the world famous grand-prix is held each year.

Sea food, Cars, Casinos and luxury shopping, this one is not to miss

EAT.

You can’t leave without visiting a Monte-Carlo hot spot; Cafe de Paris. Located to the side of the famous Casino, book a table at the front so you can eat and admire the luxury cars driving around and being parked by valet.

Grab some lunch or steak dinner at the new Tavolo Restaurant (photos above) located inside the Columbus hotel and over looking The Fontvieille; Princess Grace’s Rose Garden, open daily from dawn to dusk surprising you with every rose you can imagine.

Both are family friendly restaurants.

STAY.

For somewhere relaxing to stay visit The Columbus Hotel. A modern gem, located in the new part of Monaco, away from the busy tourist attraction but offers a shuttle to several destinations in Monaco.
Alternatively take a short walk, which we done each day.

Several rooms and suites to choose from offering a family friendly service and amenities; travel cot, baby bath, organic baby wash and moisturiser, steamer and nappy bin.

Friendly staff and if you have forgotten something just ask and they will do their best to bring it to your room.

Escape a day of exploring the city with a swim in the pool.

Room service treats included milk and cookies on their turn down service.

VISIT THE CASINO.

By visiting the Casino I don’t mean to gamble, of course you can. I literally mean to indulge in the luxury surrounding it.

We visited day and night to see the difference. Night time is very extravagant so I would high recommend it.

If you like your cars and luxury shopping it’s a spot not to miss.

HAVE A BEACH DAY.

We spent the day on Cap D’Ail. During our European Road trip we forgot to take a sun parasol, which meant we had to go to spend the day on a beach club, which turned out pretty perfect.
