I have been thinking a lot lately what to do with our living room. I have wanted the white sofas since forever and they have transformed our room as it tends to lose light in the afternoon.
I have been constantly thinking about what to do to make this room look more homely. After scrolling endlessly on Pinterest I noticed my eyes kept being drawn to blue and white. I don’t know why I’ve not considered it before. We have a blue kitchen and the colour is perfect for a home by the sea.
Later on, I could also introduce shades of pink to really warm the room up. Think pink vases and a pink blanket folded on one arm of the sofa.
I have the rectangle cushions coming this week for each end of the sofa. I also ordered the fabric bench this will sit perfectly under our photo wall. Not only will it make for a lovely prop in the room, but it doubles up as another seat for guests.
The next thing I am lusting over is the perfect blue rug. Pricey but I don’t think you can put a price on something you spend so much time on. Now Alfie is crawling I really want something other than carpet down on the floor.
